Curator's Notes
We're buzzing about this new, honey-smooth roast! Lush and sweet on your tongue, initial notes of crisp apple and cinnamon evoke the perfect muffin, with a hint of tropical papaya in the long honeyed finish. As the coffee cools, the bright notes mellow into maple candy and sweet cola syrup. With a cup this brunch-perfect, you may want to bring back enough for the whole hive.
Roaster's Notes
El Tesoro is the first of our new Guatemala offerings for the 2018 season. This micro lot comes from La Democracia, in Huehuetenango, and is produced by Juan Adalbert Villatoro Cruze. Grown at 1650 meters, and fully washed on raised beds, this coffee presents notes of cola, honey, and maple. You don’t want to miss it!
