Cherry, spice and everything nice, this roast has a lot of intense fruit flavor in a light, refreshing package. Let it be the cherry on top of your Sunday (or Monday, or Tuesday...).
Complex and worldly, with dark red fruit aromas that lead to cherry and sweet wafer. We're enjoying this coffee most as a pour over but it's been shining as an espresso as well.
"I tasted a bit of an earthy/smoky flavor. I tend to like the more unusual tasting notes, and this hit the spot. Would like to try more from this roaster." (4 out of 5)
"It kind of has this earthy/mushroomy taste. Very balanced and pleasant. Good acid." (4 out of 5)
"Really sour and spicy. I usually don't mind a little tartness in my coffee but this was just too much. The cherry came through but was very bold. Too bold. " (2 out of 5)
"Sour on the nose. Sour, tart and toasty with big cherry. Not a big fan of the cherry notes in coffee, so just wasn't the blend for me. Made as double shot espresso." (3 out of 5)
"Wonderful cup of joe! Smooth and fruity and delicious anyway you make it! Definitely a favorite! " (5 out of 5)
"Aeropress and V60. I didn't really like the spicy notes in this one. After trying the Aeropress I switched to the V60 and it was pretty much the same. Maybe they roasted this one a little too long b/c the underlying fruit notes were good. Then, I prefer the lighter roasts. " (4 out of 5)
"Extremely sweet. Way too light for my tastes although i do prefer a dark roast" (3 out of 5)
