Take a walk within Dark Cedars: a playful, darker spin on a seasonal El Salvador. Notes of juicy purple fruit dance within a toasty base of cacao and savory molasses. These woods are lovely, dark and deep... this great cup is a promise kept!
Dark Cedars is currently a single-origin, dark roasted coffee from El Salvador. We love this coffee for its bold flavor and rich mouthfeel. We taste cacao, molasses, and black currant.
"Really good blend! It was well balanced and perfect for a Sunday morning cup of coffee. Subtle and delicious."
"This was very good coffee. I brewed in a drip machine and drank it with a bit of sweetener. The coffee was bold and full of flavor, but not too bitter for my tastes. "
"Very smooth, tasty and all around a good cup in drip or press. "
"Loved it! Wish the bags were bigger. Dark, a little sweet but not too sweet."
"This is the absolute best coffee I have ever had in my life. If you don't try this one you are missing out! Smoothest coffee I've had from Bean Box yet. Amazing from start to finish with no aftertaste whatsoever. french pressed."
"This was the first coffee that I tried out of my trial box. I made it in my french press in the morning and damn, was it a good cup of coffee! I had mine with a splash of heavy whipping cream and I liked it so much, that I'm going to keep ordering from BB just so I can get more of it! "
"This was a little too bitter for me. The bitterness overshadowed the fruit flavors. "
"Really good dark roast. I prefer coffee black usually and this one was perfect--dark and rich, not too bitter."
"Rich and smooth but without being cloying. Really nice frutiy, non-acrid aftertaste. Good by itself or with breakfast."
