We look forward to this cozy blend every year. It’s dark but not too dark, satisfyingly spicy, and versatile enough for a family celebration or just a snow day with you and your Pookie (tell Pookie we say hi).
Our seasonal favorite is back. This year’s blend features the full-bodied, spicy flavors of Java and Sumatran beans with the new addition of a creamy Guatemalan roast. Dialed slightly back from last year's roast profile for a perfect toasty finish.
"Not overroasted, but a very dark bean. Depends on your preference in light, medium, or dark, but overall it is very flavourful. I would recommend to someone looking for a dark roast with a hint of fruit." (4 out of 5)
"Creamy blend with a heavy finish. Ideal for your French press and a cozy couch. Great for dark roasts lovers and those who are broadening horizons." (4 out of 5)
"A nice, smooth dark roast for people who don't like dark roasts. Earthiness and spice come through immediately. As it cools it becomes quite flat so don't make a large cup that you can't finish hot." (4 out of 5)
"Very smooth dark roast, very tasty for such a dark roast. Chemex brewed." (4 out of 5)
"I prepared it twice, hoping that I'd have something helpful to say about this coffee, but it's just a boring old dark roast to me. I will say however, it was not overly roasted, so that's a positive! " (3 out of 5)
"Citrus and spice made something nice here. French pressed this blend and was impressed with the resulting taste (I was originally hesitant - but there was just enough smoothness to interact with the bite of the citrus and the spice). Delicious." (4 out of 5)
