Curator's Notes
The name and flavors of this washed Yirgacheffe reminds us of sakura, cherry blossoms. Delicate, rosy, and bright, this cup marries the boldness of black tea with plenty of juicy red fruit and just a hint of sunny citrus. We’re head over mugs.
Roaster's Notes
If you look at some of our favorite coffees of all times over the past ten years many of them have come from Yirgacheffe. The Sakaro is a perfect example of what we look for in a Yirgacheffe coffee. Very bright, juicy, and complex with notes of red currant, raspberry, black tea, and bergamot.
