A roast this juicy, this velvety-smooth? It’s no illusion! Bright notes of banana and fruit tea lead into a luscious caramel ending. The stuff that awakenings are made of.
Grown in Huila, Colombia, by a small farmer who became involved in coffee through a government program to help those displaced by conflict. This sun-dried natural lot has notes of orange, ripe banana, and a rich caramel finish.
"Very light, smooth roast. The banana is not a very strong flavor. Has a carmelly finish." (2 out of 5)
"Banana and caramel? Sign me up! SO good and smooth." (5 out of 5)
"By far one of my favorites and will order once available again. Good for after dinner and a lighter more fruiter coffee is in order but my favorite is taking my favorite dark roast and grinding some of this in with it to taste to give me a personal favorite blend. " (5 out of 5)
"Too bright and acidic for my taste but that may just be because I prefer a darker roast. Complex underlying tastes though" (3 out of 5)
"Brewed in chemex. Slate doesn't make a bad roast.....EVER. This is delicate, you can taste the banana and finishes with a shortbread cookie. Well done Slate you did not disappoint once again!" (5 out of 5)
"The description from bean box is right on. The fruit is light and bright (not too bright though) and it's mellowed out by the banana and caramel. Yummy. " (4 out of 5)
