Curator's Notes

The natural processing method on this roast lends a rich, yet crisp grape tartness and a syrupy, tea-with-honey finish. This coffee exhibits all the lovely fruitiness of a natural, with the floral elegance of a washed. A sweet, summery brew or a fine iced coffee.

Roaster's Notes

Sourced from small farms in the Gedeo region, from all Grade 1 beans. This coffee has a delicious structure -- plenty of fruity acidity, a rich but not heavy body, and a lingering sweet honey finish. Notes of honey, red grape, and chocolate.

★★★★★
"This roast has a ton a flavor for a light roast. I really liked the floral hints and subtle spices in this one. I liked it significantly better from the chemex over a press. "

★★★★★
"It starts with a soft earthy nose and mild spiciness. The coffee tastes juicy + big sharp fruit. Lively dancing acidity. Fruit and herb at the end. "
HARRISON 09/07/2016
★★★★★
"A terrific coffee, very well rounded cup. Brewed in a drip machine and french press, this coffee was bright, flavorful, and very satisfying. Some sweet notes and a smooth finish. Tried it hot and iced and it didn't disappoint. Definitely a coffee I will get again. "

"Brewed with both french press and chemex. Delightful in both. Perfect summer coffee with fruity notes and smooth velvet finish."
MEGAN 07/03/2016
★★★★★
"An excellent bold blend that has a berry flavor right off the bat. With the fruit, you would expect some tartness but it's got a much lower acidity and smooth finish. This is a great coffee if you're looking for something a little different."

"First time I had this roaster's beans. I love Ethiopian beans. Tasty but not memorable. "

"Brewed using a v60-a decent cup of Ethiopian, just not the most flavorful. Smooth but I did't pick up on a lot of the flavors."
