This coffee comes from small holder farmers in the Cimulek area of West Java. Fresh cherries are carefully chosen and pulped in small batches. Fermented overnight and washed clean, the parchment is dried on raised beds in bamboo greenhouses. A truly hand-crafted coffee! Notes: very chocolatey with raspberry, caramel, toffee, and nougat.
"This was surprisingly dark, bold and heavy for a light roast. I could taste the nougat-chocolate, like a dark and heavy syrup molasses-chocolate. None of the others flavors really came through for me. Wasn't my favorite, I just though it had a thickness and syrupy darkness to it. "
