It’s all about the Bebes, baby! This year’s lot is fresh from the importer. We love the full, cocoa body and juicy notes of cherry, raisin, and sweet apple pie. Save the cream and sugar for baking; this little number is très chic in basic black.
This A/X quality coffee was processed at the Bebes washing station in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Sero Bebes is the owner of the washing station which he has be running since around 2010. Sero owns a 34 HA plantation that was planted in 1968.
Tasting notes: Heavy bodied with notes of caramel, chocolate, toffee, and cherry.
"Good coffee. Not too fruity and not too dark, which I appreciate. Would get again! "
"This is It! It's my go to coffee, just perfectly balanced. Not too fruity, not to dark, not too light...a cup that you can emerse yourself into. Sit down for this one. Don't rush It! I stop all that I am doing to indulge in this bebe ax for Sure! As we say in Maui, break da mouth!"
"Nice, but I was expecting more caramel/sweet flavoring. I have too many other favorites that I wouldn't plan on ordering again."
"Great coffee! Glad I had a full bag of this one, considering I didn’t love it upon first taste. Great just black or with a little cream. The chocolate and toffee were most noticeable for me, definitely would buy again!"
"I'm pretty underwhelmed by this coffee. The taste is nice, but very mild. "
"I really enjoyed this coffee. Very smooth and buttery, probably from the caramel note. "
"I loved this coffee, especially in the evenings. I mainly brewed it in a french press, although I imagine it would be great as a pour over too. The cherry notes were wonderful as the coffee cooled but what I liked the most was that it wasn't overpowering and was balanced by the toffee notes."
"Try some you'll like it....best at room temp for me...plus the price is real nice clark...load me up with a little more of that... it is good"
