Curator's Notes
Coffee that is handpicked just for you: literally! This 8th generation family farm handpicks their beans, a laborious (and rewarding!) process. The result is this rich cup of autumn spices and woodsy cocoa. It’s our top “pick” for chilly mornings.
Roaster's Notes
Fazenda Serra das Tres Barras belongs to producer José Wagner Ribeiro Junqueira, together with his three sons (Kleber, Ralph and Herbert de Castro Junqueira) and his wife Margarida Maria de Castro Junqueira. Their family has been farming for eight generations, and works hard to preserve the forests and natural springs of their 160 hectare farm. The coffees are picked by hand, which is quite uncommon in Brazil-- the vast majority are picked mechanically. This cup has a rich body, with notes of macadamia nut, grape, cinnamon, cocoa, and fragrant wood.
