Curator's Notes
Made in the shade: this small lot, “los cedros”, is named in honor of the cedar grove that provides the perfect shady growing spot. The result is a cup that’s creamy like nougat and sweet like ripe summer fruit. We think it’s plum perfect.
Roaster's Notes
Finca La Esperanza was founded over half a century ago by Sr. Octavio Herrera. Sr. Herrera, known as 'Otto' managed nearly every facet of the farm’s operation for decades, but he is now semi-retired and watches over the three generations of his family that contribute daily to to the farm’s operations.
