For Jillian, a productive day starts with a healthy morning routine.
§ What time do you get to sleep? What time do you wake up?
I try to get in bed by 10pm (doesn't always happen) and I'm usually up by 6:30am
§ What do you dream about?
It's always different! Usually I forget them pretty quickly but they're often a reflection of different things I have going on in my life at the time.
§ What’s the first thing you do once you’re awake?
Snuggle with my 1 year old pup mowgli.
§ What morning ritual do you have that’s sacred to starting your day off right?
Drinking a 32 oz mason jar of water with lemon while I get ready in the morning. It makes me feel energized I like kicking off the day well hydrated.
§ What one possession/object is essential to your morning?
Can I pick two? My sweatpants and fleece lined bathrobe.
§ With whom do you spend your mornings?
My boyfriend Andrew and our pup Mowgl.
§ What do you eat for breakfast?
It varies from day to day but some favorites include avocado toast with sea salt and lemon, 2 eggs scrambled with leftover veggies and sweet potato or an english muffin with peanut butter, hemp seeds and berries.
§ What kind of coffee do you drink in the morning, and how do you prepare it?
Coldbrew with whole milk or homemade nut milk and cinnamon. This is another favorite part of my morning!
§ What’s the one upgrade you wish you could add to your morning?
Allowing myself more time in the morning so I'm not rushing out the door - time maybe to stretch, relax a little bit and center myself before a busy work day.
§ What do you consider the end of your morning?
When I start work - then it's pretty busy the rest of the day!
