Of all the coffee joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine. A classic love story of single origins coming together. This seasonal blend won’t last forever, but that’s OK. They’ll always have Seattle.
We are happy to announce the return of Summer Solstice Blend. We’ve reformulated the blend from last year but the 2016 edition is even more complex and delicious than last year. This blend combines the bright, citrus notes from Kenya, the juicy full-bodied character from Costa Rica Tarrazu and a crisp acidity courtesy of Estate Nicaragua from Jinotega.
"Strong flavor, which I really enjoyed, "Summer Solstice" indeed. " (3 out of 5)
"Easy to drink, lightly fruity and floral but not heavily acidic." (4 out of 5)
"Brewed this in a French press. I don't usually go for dark roasts. But this? The brighter varieties in the blend balanced out the darker flavors. It really worked. Great coffee." (5 out of 5)
"A nice coffee. But too floral and fruity for me. Would prefer smokier darker roast." (4 out of 5)
"Flavor was not overpowering, but still tasted great." (4 out of 5)
"Had this coffee both with a drip maker and Aeropress. The latter really did it justice, you get the citrus flavor it is known for and maybe not so much of the acidity. Good stuff." (4 out of 5)
"Brewed with my French press. Well balanced with a lot of body. Nice smooth finish my though. Good rainy day coffee." (4 out of 5)
"We tried this coffee hot and not iced and we didn't notice a floral or citrus taste, it seemed very neutral, not very aromatic but nice after taste" (4 out of 5)
"I was surprised by this coffee for sure. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. Not a big fan of citrus notes, but not too noticeable for me. In love with the spice finish. " (5 out of 5)
